Hello, guest. Here are a few possible explanations for your symptoms:

  1. Testicular torsion: This is a condition in which the spermatic cord, which provides blood supply to the testicle, becomes twisted. It usually presents with sudden and severe pain, often accompanied by swelling. Testicular torsion is a medical emergency and requires immediate attention.

  2. Epididymitis: This is the inflammation of the epididymis, a coiled tube located behind the testicle. It can be caused by a bacterial infection or other factors. Epididymitis typically presents with gradual onset of pain, swelling, and tenderness in the testicle.

  3. Hydrocele: A hydrocele is a fluid-filled sac that surrounds the testicle, leading to swelling. It may cause discomfort or a heavy sensation in the scrotum but is usually not associated with severe pain.

  4. Inguinal hernia: In some cases, an inguinal hernia can cause testicular pain and swelling. It occurs when a portion of the intestine or abdominal tissue protrudes through a weakened area in the abdominal wall.
