These sound like common symptoms that strike as women approach menopause. When hormonal levels, especially the levels of estrogen, start declining the body starts “complaining” as estrogen has important functions around the body.
Estrogen affects hypothalamus that is in charge of sleep, appetite, body temperature and sex hormones. When the levels of estrogen starts declining, the symptoms you mentioned start showing up because body gets an impressing that the heat is raising and than the body does anything in its power to lower the temperature. The blood pressure goes up, heart starts working faster, sweat glands release more sweat. So, first you experience a hot flash and the raising of your temperature and that the cooling which can be pretty uncomfortable.
You may see your gynecologist and have your hormonal levels checked and talk to your doctor about the effectiveness of hormone replacement therapy in your case or approaching to alternative therapies like using herbs, acupuncture and alike.
Many women refuse HRT due to its link to breast and cervical, and endometrial cancer but HRT gives better results than herbs. It depends of course how severe your symptoms are and this is something you should discuss with a doctor.

Hi. Maybe you have schizophrenia, I don`t know. It is some sort of psychosis for sure. But I think you have no reason to be worried. Many people have psychotic episode(s) during their lives. I had my own episode last year and went to see a doc. I was prescribed with some meds, I took one pill and I was feeling even crazier than I was. No meds for me. I feel just fine now. Not a single voice, or hallucination, after that event.
