I am 22 weeks pregnant with twins. I am very happy now that I can feel them move. There are times that I can feel them move when I'm on a certain position like bending over or when I sleep on my side. The baby on that side moves more that the baby on top. My question is am I making the baby uncomfortable or does their movement express protest to my body position. I just don't want hurt them or crush their feet or legs or arms when I lean on a certain side.
I will tell you a funny story about my 1st pregnancy - and hopefully this will show you what I'm trying to say - When I was about 20 weeks pregnant I went for an ultrasound, as the technician was pressing down on my stomach with the doppler I saw my son, and then ALL of a sudden he turned to the camera POUTED and "Punched" the spot where the doppler was pressing down!!!!! o.O XD We were all shocked!! And he is STILL like that! IF I wore a belt, he would push and push against it! The babies will move ALL the time and try and get as much room as possible inside the cramped space! When you are in a certain position and they don't like it they WILL let you know by mak8ng YOU uncomfortable! Just remember that they are FULLY protected by the sac, and your skin, and the fluid! Just think of a balloon filled with water, and a barbie doll is inside - weird thought actually XD ;-) - and then when you try and push down on the water filled balloon, you wont be able to touch "Barbie" so don't worry OK? It is what makes you comfortable - ESPECIALLY with twins! And they WILL tell you when they want you to MOVE! OK? Hope this helps!
