I am seeking to improve my breaststroke. I am not bad at it but could do much better. I know that there are many tips and suggestions regarding breaststroke. I would like to know what the best position for swimming breaststroke is. Do I have to keep my body on the surface all the time?

Yes you do and that is the best thing you can do for your breaststroke swimming. The most important thing here is to keep your body at the surface. Dropping your hips can cause you whole body to follow and you will not be gliding on the surface anymore. Also, you have to pay attention to your knees which should be brought to your chest with your ankles out. Since you have to keep your legs and arms in the water all the time splash is something we should not see.
