I have to say that I am very much worried about my kid. He is 13 years old and he sustained a bone fracture. He broke his arm while playing soccer in school. Anyway, he is ok now but I am still worried. I mean, a friend told me that his mother suffered a compartment syndrome after breaking her arm. What is that condition?
That is the situation in which the vascularisation of the muscles in the broken arm is not done properly in the healing process and that leads to the tension of those muscles which is constant and then the arm is left in an awkward position. Unfortunately, this condition cannot be reversed completely, only partially through the operation.
