It all started with a heartburn, then all of a sudden she felt numbness on the left side of her body. she still has pain in her left side and a little numbness in her left leg and arm. she feels pressure in her head and this brings about headaches. She is on a blood thinner medication due to a heart condition. what is causing her to experience the pressure in her head. she has been in this condition for over four months. She is pregnant presently, would this be a contributory factor for the pressure in her head and why it is not going away? Please let me know as sson as possible.
Concerned neighbor
Has your neighbor seen her doctor recently? The numbness on one side of her body, the headaches, and pressure in her head could indicate a stroke. Blood pressure can rise during pregnancy and blood thinners could contribute to this as well.
thank you for your prompt response. I really appreciate this.
Yes, she has sought medical attention and becuase of the pregnancy, she could not get an mri done to locate the cause of the pressure in her head. She has been going for constant follow ups with her doctors. She has been going for physical therapy but still feels pain in her left arm and leg sometimes and pressure in her head. Why is that still happening and what is the cause. What is causing her to feel the pressure in her head? Presently she is 34 weeks pregnant and is seeing her cardiologist and obgyn regularly. Do you think this will go away after she has the baby?
