Many people are trying to lose weight but what is with us that are trying to gain weight. Sometimes gaining weight is just hard or even harder than to lose it.
I've been trying to gain weight since my adolescence but nothing worked like i wanted to. Does anyone have some inspiring wiehgt gain story that can help me get started on my weight gain plan again?
Yeah, I can relate to your story.
Back in 2012 I was put on the treatment with a medicine that has some nasty side effects. One of the side effects of this medicine was loss of appetite and weight loss.
Treatment lasted for a whole year and by the end of 2013 I dropped from 205 pounds (6"3' tall ) to 165 pounds . Yeah, I lost 40 pounds and I was skin and bone and I felt like it.
Back then I promised my self I would not let that happen to me again.
When my treatment was about to end i researched about the best and quickest ways to recover and gain weight back.
Once my treatment was over I gave myself a period of 3 weeks to just chill and make a program that will work for me. After some research I've decided to make a eating plan and workout plan.
I've created a spreadsheet to track my workout. I went with doing push ups at home and eating high-protein fattening food.
I ate 3 times a day but at specific times.
- Breakfast 10 AM
- Lunch 5 PM
- Dinner 10 PM (Immediately after workout)
My workout plan consisted of working out 3 times per week for 1 hour. I would workout around 9 PM for one hour and eat immediately after it.
After 3 months I gained back 30 pounds. But not only did i gain my weight back I also looked good and felt good about myself. I continued to gain weight by working out and eating regularly.
Now i weigh 216 pounds and actually considering to lose some weight :D Just kidding! But for all of you out there wishing to gain weight, be careful what you wish for, it might come true :)I know how it feels when you want to gain weight, I've been there. Don't worry about it, if you really want it , just set goals for yourself and make a plan.
Good luck.
