I've recently had a really bad gallbladder attack. I ate too much fat, without realizing it, until the attack happened.
I have also had symptoms of an attack during the last few days, night time nausea, pain in my right side, under my breast, stomach cramps, etc. But I didn't have a clue they were gallbladder attack symptoms, so I ignored them, since they were mild. I thought they were from my period, since I was on that recently as well.
I was wondering, since I overloaded my gallbladder with fat so much already, should I cut down on eating fat a huge lot, for a week or so? Or stop eating fat altogether for maybe a day or two, so it can recover?
I know that fat is essential to a healthy diet, but I overdid it, and I'm not sure how long I need to wait, or what I have to do, until the fat that is overloading my system is gone, so I can put more in. (not as much as I used to of course)
Basically, I just want to know, if it's safe to eat more fat the very next day after having a bad gallbladder attack, the earlier night. And I obviously will cut it down a little, but should I cut it down a lot? And for how long?
