when should i stop drinking water so i don't get a cramp in the middle of my run? I know it varies but is there a guideline of sort?

Different for every person.
And every situation. You need to drink (water :duh: ) throughout a long race (my definition of long 10 miles or more) or run. You could get by without if you were only doing a 5K. If you're in a dry climate, you may not think you need to, simply because you aren't sweating like you would if you were somewhere humid. WRONG. What is your running pattern like? Same rough distances all the time? Same pace?

Different for every person.
And every situation. Drink less and/or drink slower? Even during a long race I never drink more than maybe half a cup at any one stop, and I sip it.
