I'm currently taking the z pack now, I'm not a dr and am not suggesting anyone to do anything but This will be the second time I've used the z pack and I've never had any reactions other then getting better. Both times I've used it I've had a few beers and it's never bothered me any. Cheers!

I confirm this. I have severe diarrhea right now after drinking two glasses of wine in the PM after having taken the pill at 8 AM. I have a wicked headache in the back of my head and Immodium is not working!

I usually drink on antibiotics like it's nothing. I tried this on azithromycin.
Everything seemed fine but my stomach was bugging me a bit. Drank more it seemed fine.
Got food late night, went to sleep.
Woke up in the morning first thing as I woke up a forceful projectile vomit into my mouth which I held shut while I ran for the bathroom. Tiny bit came out on the floor. I made it to the toilet and vomitted a pretty good amount of what I ate the night before. I felt like sh*t all day long. Did it hurt me, probably not...but it was not pleasant. I will not drink except for a glass or two on this again.

From personal experience, I had strep throat and was given azithromycin. I took 6 pills over a course of 5 days. I immediately felt better on the 2nd day, and on the 5th day about 12 hours after my last 250mg dose, I drank heavily that night. I would say I had gotten a little more intoxicated faster than usual, but besides that I was just fine. Also, continued to drink alcohol for the rest of that weekend Just my personal experience I thought I would share.

You are right, it intensifies the medication and makes you drunk faster. That is all that happens.

Tell me about it wished I'd read this before, I took it was night 2 hours later had one small rum and coke, woke up half way through the night with stomach cramps and a handover from hell that even tablets don't relieve.

The exact same thing happened to me. I had just one glass of wine last night while on Azithromycin and I can hardly get it together today. Definitely wouldn't recommend!
