i found this very helpful, i had my first depo october 8,12 & two days later me and my boyfriend possibly conceived. I was unaware about Depo and i didn't get it within 5 days of my period, got it 2 wks after my lmp.. it's now 3 months later, i feel very much pregnant although blood tests and hpt are negative. I've been pregnant before so i know the feeling. I'm just waiting to get a ultrasound.

I actually had two friends plus myself get pregnant while on depo. It does happen alot more then people realise.

My boyfriend and I are trying to have a kid. It's very hard. I consider the posabilities of being on the depo fir about 4 months. That it's affecting it. It is. I really suggest that anyone who is on it, get off it immidiatly. Can cause the flopian toops in your stomach to swell up and rupture, can cause cervical cancer, can affect your period to the point where it stops or keeps going. I was on my period for month at once didnt stop didn't have a break. Good luck to anyone who's on it and hope you weren't on it for long...

ive been on the depo for 8 months i go for my 3rd shot soon , ive never gained weight , actually i lost 6 pounds .. it does make me very very depressed at times , sad , cramppy , fatigue , nasuea.. every pregnancy symptom in the book ! literlllyy .. ive never had a period except for maybe a week just light spotting .. Me & my fiance have had sex just about everyday "unprotected" before bc and now on bc , never been pregnant . all my friends i have talked to are the same , unless theyve missed a shot, or late on a shot. So ladies , dont think your pregnant! your just crazy & pshyco because ur on depo :) trust me. quit srtessin yourself its rear ! the anxiety of being on the shot is crazy , i have anxiety bad already on medicine for it and the depo made it worse , i would love to get off of it but i refuse to bring a baby in todays world lol .. so i dont recommend it if u have anxiety bad..& dont worry about the weight gain , you'll lose it .. your all beautiful anyway !! but for the girl that said she touched her self after wiping off her boyfriends sperm, your not pregnant thats literlly impossible lmao. goodluck sweethearts !!

ive been on depo for almost 2 years. my last appointment for it was march 11th but i decided not to go.....now ime having all the nausea, cramping, back ache, sore breasts and nipples as i see others are having. but wat triggered my curiosity is that ive had dry mouth and spitting (yuck :(.. ) as well....could it be possible to be pregnant so early...my fiance and i are so anxious and curious

This thread is awesome! Lol alot of the comments just made me laugh so hard and forget my panic attack for a second! Lol o.O okay soooo.... I was late on my depo shot by 2 weeks have been on it for 2 years. So I got the shot Nov. 21st had unprotected sex (ALL NIGHT) Nov. 23-24th... Last period was Nov. 10.... Today is Jan. 3rd I have not gotten my period. I've taken several HPT all negative but I have preggo symptoms such as I'm sleepy a d hungry all the time!! I'm going in for a blood test on the 5th! I will update all on outcome for the next paranoid freaked out woman! Lol

Um actually you can get pregnant on the depo, there's a .03% chance so it's slim but it can happen. I was on the depo when I got pregnant with my first child, got my shot on time every time, boyfriend wore condoms the first 2 weeks and last 2 weeks of every shot as Doctors suggest and guess what? He turns five in February so yes you can get pregnant on it.

What if I had unprotected sex before 3 weeks before then went to the drs refused standard screens to check coz I thought I had a period after having sex then took the shot and now am having symptoms which I ignored but now feel flutters took test they all come back negative hoping I’m not but just thought I’d ask?
