i'm 16, i weigh about 110 pounds and i'm 5 foot 6 inches. i've heard somewhere that pull-ups can make you taller is that true or will it stunt my growth?
I work out with machines (no free weights) with nothin more than 60 pounds, will this stunt my growth?

only if you ate taking steroids will you stunt your growth. and doing pull ups does not make you taller. it could possible elongate your spine, which in turn can make you seem taller, but no actual growth took place
sorry, does that mean i will get stunted if i do pull ups.
Hello there,
Exercising is not going to stunt your growth! This myth is going around for quite some time and I believe that your friends who are too lazy to do anything are the prime culprits for this disinformation.
Exercising is beneficial in more than one way. It is great because you will be in great shape and you will tone up your body (and this is very attractive to the girlsJ). Exercising is also good for your mental health because it is increasing the level of serotonin and endorphin which are responsible for level of happiness in our organism among all the other things.
Just continue with exercising and you will see the results of your hard work very soon.
