Let me give some backrounf info on myself 1st. I am 35 in great shape, I workout 4 to 5 times a week and I have no health problems. I have been taking a preworkout drink called NOXPLODE. The guy at GNC said he has heard from several guys that taking this stuff has caused them problems in bed like not getting hard enough. He said it was beacsue of the amount of caffiene in this drink. How long does it take for the body to purge this stuff out of the body. The last 2 times I have had to try to have sex with my girl I would get hard then after a few strokes go soft. I since then have stopped taking the drink its been about 2 days now. Also I do jerk off just about everyday is there such a thing as jerking off to much and is that casuing me to go soft during sex?

Sorry, I have no information on NOXPLODE.  THat's the problem with these new suppliments....nobody has any credible research on them and we don't know the longterm, or even the shortterm effects of them.

It may very well be that that's a side effect on the ability to have an errection or to maintain one until climax.  Maybe not.

You should know that even though you are in great shape, many men start to experience some sexual side-effects, or an occassional loss of erection at your age.  This doesn't mean that everyone will...nor does it mean that you will... but it does start to happen.  Not too many guys talk about it.

The key is not to worry about it.  There's nothing more certain to kill an erection than to worry about it or your performance....well, almost nothing. (Maybe if she's saying "come on big boy, let's go...what the problem..'."  Well, that could kill one faster... but you get my point.)  A watched pot almost never boils.

A better way to handle it would be to say "Oh look, honey... for what ever reason, I'm not going to be able to keep it up tonight.  What OTHER forms of attention and stimulation would you like.  We could try...or...and maybe...   what would you like to try instead tonight?"   So much easier and better to laugh about it, and not worry about it.  It's most likely to return the next night or another night without any signs of continuing problems.

But if you suddenly start thinking, "oh no, am I loosing it?  Again?  Oh no, not now..."  You're almost certain to kill your interest in sex and make it a self-fulfilling idea.

Maybe there's something in NOXPLODE that keeps an erection from being as strong as you'd like.... all men experience this with advancing age...some at 34.... some at 40...some at 45... or 50, but in their 50s, most all men are coping with a reduced sex drive and a penis that won't always stay engaged every time.

Is it caffine?  Really?  I would have thought that with all the Pepsi or Coke drinkers....coffee or tea drinkers, we'd have an epidemic of impotence by now.

As for your final question, "is there such a thing as jerking off too much"...   well, that's up to you.  Would you rather spend your time and energy alone in the bathroom giving yourself a guarenteed orgasm... or investing that time and energy in a relationship (however shallow or deep) with another sexual partner?    Some guys find they can jerk off every day and still not be satisfied.  Others, once a week is plenty, with nothing left over for a partner.  Do you want to cut back?  Do you think you might not have as much stamina as you used to?  Do you want to save it up a little more for your girl?   Then do.  Cut back to say, once every two weeks, and if you're not having wet dreams already, you'll probably have a hair trigger.  Maybe cut back to every OTHER day, and see if your happier.   Certainly, you can pace yourself and decide how much sexual energy you can aford to spend.

Good luck.

Don't worry.   And about caffine.... I think the body rids itself of a doze of caffine in two days... certainly if you don't drink a cup of coffee or pop one day, you feel the effects, right?   That would indicate to me that it's processed out of the body pretty fast... in a day or so at most, right?

Stop worrying and knock off the suppliments for a while.

It may take anywhere between 2 weeks and 4 to flush your system out. You should theoretically see some results in about a week to 2.

If that doesn't help with your erection problem, you can always pop a blue pill before you have sex.

Always read the labels on your supplements before you start taking it. The guy at GNC is paid to sell products. That doesn't necessarily mean he knows what he is talking about.
