Hello! I am fifty years old and a year ago I started to miss my periods. I had all symptoms of menopause, I was very nervous, I gained five kilos and I started to be unhappy. I heard that baby aspirin would help with bringing back my periods. I don't know should I use it or not. When I had my period I felt good and that is why I want them back. My husband says that I should visit my psychiatrist first.
Hello! Menopause is really difficult time for every woman and it is not a bad idea to ask for a support of an expert. I don't know why you have the idea of bringing back your periods; it would be the same if I asked to be young again (and I am forty six). You have to learn that this is normal and natural period of your life. Regarding Aspirine, the only thing I know is that many post-menopausal women take it on a regular basis in order to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Also, it is very useful for women who already have diagnosed a cardiovascular disease. All the best!
