Basically my problem isn't exactly radical, nor is it that important to me. It's more out of curiosity:
I'm 20 and since I can remember my stomach has been bloated after eating, drinking in large quantities or, of course, both :-D
Here are the symtons:
After eating a large amount my stomach bulges in ALL areas - I can only assume this is normal? After drinking (assume beer at all times) in large quantities my stomach bulges (in all areas), I can also only assume this is normal. However, regardless of whether i have eaten a small amount or large amount the same night as drinking fairly heavily my LOWER abdomen is ALWAYS buldging excessively the next morning. I'm aware this is an expanded stomach because of the night before and also an expanded intestine "area". However what I am curious about is if there may be another diagnosis? I have recently given up on my obsessive compulsion; swimming (university dictated that). On the other hand when I was younger and swimming 3-4 times a week competetively and also out on the town (in those days i drank vodka and coke or something alike to keep the calories down) I still woke up with a buldging...bulging?... lower abdomen. Back then I had a six pack twice that of Arnold's yet the lower half of my Abdomen still swole up like a balloon, causing great discomfort.
Now, I must tell you I have a very curved spine. My shoulder blades are about 2-3 inches out further than most people's [it doesn't seem to look weird at all (but may that be my ignorance speaking?...lol let's hope not) ; which sounds hard to believe, it looks more like I've a posture that could kill a flying pigeon, and I can only say that from my point of view, it's the best way of describing it] This has always pushed out my abdomen.
Now, when I am on an empty somach: i.e. no drinking the night before and no late night meals, my stomach is flat as a football pitch and the six pack returns in a more modest view than the ridiculous looking hard-as-nails pack from the swimming days. I like the modest six pack, and would like to A) sustain heavy drinking through my student years B) sustain a decent levely of ENJOYABLE food through my student years; and C) keep the modest six pack. Any speculation on this would be greatly taken. Thanks very much in advance.
