Hello, I am Ashley and I am overweight. I'm 13 5'5 and 154 pounds. I've done alot of research throughout this site and a few others, and they say me as a female should weight around 122 at my age. Does anyone have ANY tips at all or anything to what I should do because I certainly DO NOT want to talk about my parents about it. And also what foods take more calories then they started with? Example celery? Because I have been eating alot of celery and I hope that helps and I also have been staying up very late at night to play Wii Fit on my wii, and try to do it so I get 30 minutes of fit credits per night. Does anyone have any tips at all I truly want to reach my goal by atleast the end of my eighth grade year (next June) and if I can before me. Please, help I will be thankful forever... I even thought of become bulemic so I did some research on that and saw that I didn't want to hurt myself...so I have decided to do it the right way
I even have cellulite and most sites say u don't get that until your around 30 so I'm scared that I may he really oversight an also my goal is 122 pounds

i also am 13 and wiegh that much my tip after doing mote research then ever is drink 6 liters of water per day walk 4 miles and sleep at least 9 hours in a 24 hour day this will help u lose wieght a lot faster also watch what you eat

Hi, well I'm also 13 as well. My mom tells me I'm overweight so I believe her, but when people tell me I'm fit I don't believe them, and idk why. I'll explain this to you if you're willing to read this.im about 5 foot 2, so 3 inches shorter than you, maybe some of your weight comes from bone, but since you're 13, bones are about 15% of your weight. I suggest you drink green tea once in the morning, and once at night. That will help boost your metabolism. As for eating, eat 5 small snacks or meals a day, that will make your stomach flatter rather than eating three big meals. Maybe you could join a sport, I think basketball would help a lot since it involves a lot of running, and plus, it tones your legs and helps you to keep your breathe steady while running. So you won't lose your breathe .I did and it helped me tons. And if u can, go to the gym about 4 or 5 times a week. For about 2 hours a day, even though weight loss is mostly about what you eat, excercising regularly will help you have more energy and be more healthy. That will stop the junk food craving. Just throw away all the can products and chips and stuff. Eat more veggies and less meat but don't become those girls where all they eat is salads. Gross. Trust me this helps, I weighed about 131 and now I'm about 125. Also set a goal for yourself, lol. Sadly my goal is 110, so I have a long way to go. Good luck!
