My name is Elena and i am 13 years old. I currently weigh about 120 pounds and am not happy with myself. I tried dieting but it didnt work and i stopped eating completely but i got sick. i feel like i the only way to lose weight is to stop eating because i lost a few pounds when i didnt eat. I play soccer and i have muscles but i hate my thighs! its summer and i cant even go away with my friends because im embarrased to go out in a bathing suit. please help me and tell me what to do. I used to run everyday but its not helping and im getting tired of it. I try to exercise but it seems unfair for me to exercise and watch what i eat when all my friends eat junk food every meal because they have a good metabolism. Help me pleasee!

hey! im 13 and going into 8th and i wish to be slim and slender b4 skool starts up again too. im kinda over weight. i weigh 125, but i dont look to great in a bathing suit if u know wat i meen. okay okay heres the thing! i found something that has been working AMAZINGGG for me and fast too! my sister and my mom went on this diet thing where u eat only a few certain foods for each day of the week. might i add that they are vegitable soups for lunch and dinner, and snacks are fruite, and drinks is water - u no stuff like that. it sounds pretty hard, but thats y u do it for only one week, then wait 2 more, and start again. personaly u can wait 1 week if u ask me, but u shouldnt do it more than one week in a row. its too hard. ANYWAY after the first week i tried..my stomach was a bit flatter [i have a little belly that pops out at the bottem of my stomach] and my legs already looked smaller. i dont weigh myself, i look at it through how my clothes fit. i only know how much i weigh cuz i had to be weighed at skool [embarrasing btw]. okay so u see my point?! this diet thing is meant to work good, and normally pretty fast. the only hard thing about it is u have to be deticated, NO CHEATING.
now, my help to u is that i can ask my mom for the food schedual for a the week(s), and if ur interested in this just e mail me for the schedual at "_[removed]_"
or AIM me at "destinynamine" (ill try to be on everyday at 1:00 P.M.)
and if u cant do either of those things...maybe ill just post it here. :-)

I Am 13, 5'4, and 124.4 lbs. I'm apperently know as one of the most popular girls and so called "cutest" girl in school. but im very insecure. I have had The Best guy to help me through it and he has always told me im pretty. but i dont beleive him.
I have been trying to loose weight and it has been working for me. I was 132 i think a month ago and l,ost 7 pounds.
Im very active and i Drink lots of water. I Dont eat sweets and junk food alot because it gives body fat. dont cut out junk tho. it could hurt your body. I also Eat everything fat free and dont snack as much. i find it easier when your hungry to chew SUGAR FREE gum. Also, if you can go walking or running every day it tones your body.
Keep a Diary of what you eat and how much you wight every week ! It really helps. NEVER GO ANEREXTIC. it can hurt you
I want to be 110 or 105. So if you have anything to add to this please do !

little children are 12 kg, there is no way that you are 13 and weigh 12 kg, unless you have a very serious eating disorder or are EXTREMELY short for your age, which I doubt you are. If boys are calling you fat, ignore them, they just don't know what to say and are just bored with their lives and they think it's fun to make fun of someone else when they really shouldn't.

Hey, I am 13 years old too and i am also really uncomfortable with my body. What i am going to do it start to eat healthy regularily and also eat small portions of food but more often,like 5-6 small meals instead of 3 big meals because then you dont go hungry and stuff like that. I also find exercise really hard for me to keep at it so what i did is found a song i liked and learned a dance to it. So now whenever i want to exercise i just put on the song and do the dance a couple of times, its a fun way to exercise and it releases endorphins which make you feel good, na dthen i can get on to the reall exercise while still listening to music.
