So I have been on birth control for over 6 months now.. And about 4 weeks ago i missed an active pill on a sunday evening & then had unprotected sex on monday but didn't realize i missed my pill til after. I doubled up on pills on monday evening. That same week I had brownish colored discharge. I went to the doctor & they gave me a pregnancy test & it was negative. I missed my period last month .. I am now due for my period in about a week & my brownish discharge is starting again? Is there a really big chance i could be pregnant? Please help me :-(
brownish discharge is old blood. and when did you go to the doctor? you most likley will not get a positive pregnancy for two weeks after unprotected sex. it takes a few days just for the sperm to find the egg, and then you have to produce enough of the pregnancy hormone to get a positive result. i don't think you are at a high risk of being pregnant from missing one pill, although there is a chance. but there is always a chance when you have sex protected or not. hope i helped in any way.
