Okay so some back story: I'm 19 years old and I'm rarely constipated, I have plenty of fiber (not too much) and it only ever happens when I hold it in which is the case I had yesterday.

I generally have a bowel movement 1-2 times a day, but I had zero yesterday. I tried to shake it off and go to sleep at the end of the day, but as anyone who's ever been constipated can tell you: it hurt. I kept getting ocassional pangs in my lower abdomen and just had the "screw it" mentality. I squatted on the toilet for a good 10-15 minutes to no avail, pushing harder and harder with each passing minute (definitely not my finest hour). Nothing came out, but when I went to wipe I felt a little something.

I took a mirror and lo and behold I see two small, pea sized lumps. One was very purple looking, the other regular skin colored. However, they both disappeared into my anus when I stopped pushing. (Grade 2 Hemorrhoid if I'm not mistaken).

They do not hurt and I am not bleeding, and as unrealistic as it sounds I am beyond terrified they might grow to the point I have to have them surgically removed (which even I can admit is really unlikely).

I have since passed two bowel movements (it's been about 17 hours) with minor pushing and they are still there and still disappear when I quit applying pressure.

I know there may be no cause for concern, but I am still a smidge terrified.

If anyone has any tips on having these go away/how long they'll be around for, it would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to be able to pass a bowel movement without fearing something might burst.

Additionally, I am contemplating a liquid diet in hopes of relieving all pressure from my anus altogether until this passes. Is this a good idea?

Sorry for the long read- any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
