3 year Vaginal Discharge, No sex, worried

So it does affect sex? i was worried about that... there must something to fix it...

its not a yeast infection, i dont think. i have been treated for one before, and no change occured

I've had the same problem for two years... It's really putting a strain on my social life, intimate and otherwise. I am constantly conscious of it. I've been to the doctor and gyno many times trying to figure out what is wrong with me... But they always say everything is normal. I was always practicing safe sex.
It's just embarrassing, because I can definitely smell it, it doesn't smell like fish or bread. But it doesn't smell good to me anyway. No one else said they ever noticed anything.
I still can't live normally! I'm almost 18 and getting really tired of this.
Going back to the doctor, to harass them for the 82 time.

I have all of tht two,and I didn't think it was normal at all. It's nasty and gross,I've had it for maybe a year and a half. At 1st it wasn't tht bad,and then I got my period. The slimy goo stoped,and then got worse and worse. I googled it and thought it was yeast infection,I ignored everything,I was lik..."oh im crazzy it'll go away..."Well I just turned 14 so at the time I was 13,I had my mom take me to the her doctor(female) to get cheaked out,I felt like an retard..while getting checked out.She said it's veryvery rare to have yeast infection at my young of an age,yeast infection usually occurs to older woman.She said my discharge was normal,I was like..."ur nuts lady,its always there,everyday,it got sooo bad,I was buying underwear like no other.Well after tht,I ignored it.Went thou my day like everything was normal,I thought I could smell somthing werid,like a musty smell,but when I would wear shorts it seemed like nobody else could smell anything.And then I lost my period...its now been 6months without my period,and the flickin' discharge is still there.I havn't had sex or anything,but my me and my boyfriend were kinda messing around yesterday(haha,I can't belive I'm putting this on the internet,)And I was wearing PJ shorts,kinda like soffffys,well he kinda sliped under those and my underwear,and well there was tht icky discharge.And I remember it,he didn't do anything just kinda felt around(gee)and after tht,maybe an hour later,he says "thts funny"and I was like,"uhhh whut is?"-he says:"well you know whut happens when guys get off,well it seems like thts wut happend with you.."-I was like:"uhh.."--he says:"it's not a bad thing,not everyguy can do tht to you"-And then i was like...whut the f**k is he talking about?My boyfriend is 16,I'm 14 btw.And soooo I was super embrassed,and idk whut to do about this stuff.So I googled it again,and I found this,and many other things,I want to find out how to reduce it,why it happens,and whut I should do about my boyfriend,I really think I love him,I wanna evently do more with him,hes not a pushy type,more of the type of guy tht says.."I'm not ready." JEZUZ,I feel like I'm the pusher..but I'm scared and embrassed. whut do I do?

holy c**p i have the same fricken thing...are ya sure it's nothin... i have had my period 3 years a go and i just notice a change in my discharge.... like i think a week ago and it's got me worried because it's like brownish yellow, no smell, and it's really like like mucus or something...it's icky, help

it sometimes stains my underwear aswell, an its embarrasing incase someone sees it, like my mum when washes my stuff.

it comes out white but dries up crusy and yellowish :-(
its soooo annoying, and very embarrasing for when i do start having sex and seeing smeone :-(

hi i'm 23 and i'm having that same problem. it only started about 2 weeks ago. where it comes out yellowish and kinda thick. it doesn't smell but i'm very concerned. i am a virgin so i don't understand it. i think i'm gonna visit my doc just to be sure it isn't anything. but it's strange cuz it only started recently.

ive had it for like 4 years! no i don't think its what YOU call "normal" people aren't supposed to have vaginal discharge for that long and nothing else!!!

the mucusey stuff comes out when you are ovulating. or when you're aroused.

hey, I hav the same problem. ive had it for like 2 years. ive been to the doctors and they just said it was normal.. they gave me creams and pills to help but nothing worked. So i went to a nutritionist and i was put onto a detox to clear out all these toxins in my body and the nutritionist said i wouldnt have the discharge problem anymore. Well i still have it ! My only worry is sex. im still a virgin and i dont want my first time to be embarressing because of it. Can someone tell me if its okay to have discharge when you have sex please ? btw its like a creamy colour. doesnt smell like fish ! just has different odour . thanks (:

im 21 and i have the same thing. it started when i started taking birth control. it has gotting so annoying. i hate the crust on my panties. i have asked the doctor about it one time before and she acted like it was normal but i would like a solution. im scared to ask the doctor about it again.

hello everyone, I am 23, a virgin and I have the same problem!! i went to the doctors thinking I had something come to find out this condition is called something that begins with mucus its a really long name but basically this discharge is a result of not being sexually active. The doctor told me that it is complelty normal and it will stop once I become sexually active. Hoepfully this helps someone!!!!!

I just went to the doctor with this exact same problem. He took a swab and looked at it under the microscope. He just saw the normal cells and no infection. So diagnosed bacterial vaginosis. He prescribed an estrogen vaginal cream ( I'm post menapause) as he just thought it would help the hormone balance in my vagina. About to try it so hope it works.

Oh my gosh, I have the same issue. I went to the doctor too, but she told me that it's normal. My mom tells me the same thing. :/ I'm just like, "Do you want to smell my underwear? Seriously, a smell that bad can't be normal." I have thick, white to yellow discharge, and it smells very sour. It's disgusting and makes me feel disgusting.

When I got swabbed and tested, the results came back "cloudy". I was given pills and such, and...well, it obviously didn't help. D: Since my results came back cloudy, my doc and my mom are both convinced it's nothing, and I stopped going to the doctor for the problem.

But yeah, my number one concern is the effect it will have on my (non existent) sex life. I'm a virgin, but I'm getting older...I have a boyfriend who is going to college, I'll be going to college very soon also, (I'm a senior in High School) and we're going to be going to the same college (Coincidentally). Something is going to happen, haha. So I just....don't want our first time to be embarrassing. I won't let him touch me and that makes me feel guilty. I don't want him to feel like I'm distant or something. D:

The last thing I want is him to take one good wiff of me and be disgusted. :/

What you are describing is perfectly normal. I was recently very scared that this was an std but then i went to a gyno and all it was, was a yeast infection. when there is white chunky discharge its either a yeast infection or your vaginas cleaning cycle. if you read through all of the stds there is no std that has that symptom
