3 year Vaginal Discharge, No sex, worried

I've had the exact same thing since I was 7 (5 years ago!) and its bl**dy ANN-OY-ING!!! My mum says its normal too... It's just not normal though, and I want to go to the doctor about it but I haven't told her that I want to, so she thinks I'm okay now. Hope it clears up to everyone with the same problems! xxx

I dont exactly understand how people are saything this is normal. Yellow crust is normal because of the air drying the discharge. But if its yellow and smelly (more noticable than before) I would recommend seeing a doctor. That & deep yellow, gray, strands of blood, show that its a possible bacterial infection (knowledge from experience). A major key is if you have abdominal cramps & you know its not because of your period. Bacterial infection materials say it can come from sexual activity & douching, but its definately not true (for I am a virgin-25 and had it at least 2ice).
I understand completely that you dont want to see a doctor, but if it continues and untreated it can cause infertility later in life.
*** Also, another good way is to call a clinic and ask to talk to a nurse. They can tell you if it is recommended to be seen.

ITS NOT NORMAL. I HAD the same thing its a vaginal infection. Iv asked my doctor and if you dont want to talk to them iv got the soultion (if mine doesnt work then you NEED to see your doctor.).

SOLUTION: Go to walmart or target and go to the feminine products aisle look for the vaginal washes and buy one there should be little boxes that say vaganal bacteria treatment. it will have a picture of the applicator its looks like a tampon. theres directions on it. some come in 1 day or 3 day treatment. Use a panty liner when you use it.

if this doesnt work talk to your doctor thats what they are there for.

also when cured by some sensitive skin soap. This will prevent it from comming back. I like Summers eve brand it to is in the feminan product asile.

Oh my gosh, same thing, and now that i have my period *im 13* its become a whole lot lighter, and some days it doesnt happen, but i used to be scared about it, then i told my mom, she just nodded her head and didnt say a thing. But now, its almost stopped, :D

:) cheer up ladies i hve the naswer...I'm only 19 but i had the proble wen i got my 1st period @ age 13...so at 1st it was light n fluffy...then it got clear....once its smelled AWFUL...then it had no smell...my doc Cyntha Strong told me tht it was normal n tht i was ovulating...and it basically left over eggs tht were not used...HOWEVER once i bcme sexually active...it wud hopn wen my period was about to come on and after it left...it wud last for weeks...then once i wasintimate, it cleared up...not sayin sex is the answer..!! but its def not normal...but its natural..my mom didnt hve.tru le once she had kids and had sex on a regular...but there is a chance if its not any shade of off white or cream or tan...U MAY HAVE A PROB...(unless you.use douches) frm exp...n eating mre fruits n salads help..n less sugary junk food...YES.I KNO junk food is good to yu but its not good for you...oh n exercisehelps as well... hope this helps... e

I also have the same exact thing when I went to the doctor she said it wa probably a yeast infection, but even after I took the medicine it still smells slightly fishey. My doctor also told me that bacterial vaginosis is yellowy even before it's dried but mine is always cloudy white. I am worried that it could be a more serious problem. I am 14 and sexually inactive. Is this normal?

I have had this since 7th grade so 12 I am now 15 I have just learned to deal with it... It is quite gross and makes me feel very selfconsious but I just try to ignore it. When it first started I was tested for a yeast infection and it came back negative so then after about a year or so I started researching it. Turns out It is normal but it's super annoying

My discharge is clear white but still smells like something died & a fishy smell from time to time Only wen im about to srt my cycle..it doesn't irritate me at all bt I can feel wen it comes out n I've had a UTI a few yrs aqo..No bumps n ive only had 2 partners

I had it 2 years before I started, its been like a year and a half since I started and it just seems to be getting worse! I told may mum a bit after it first started and she just said it was normal, I haven't said anything to her since so she has probably forgot or just thinks its fine now but I still get worried... I'm 14 and never had sex.

I've read through all of these and its actually reassuring that I'm not the only one with this problem! I'm 17 now and I've been getting the yellow sometimes whiteish discharge for like 3 years, even before my period. I went to the doctor and was given antibiotics for bacterial vaginosis, but it didn't clear up after so I went back. I saw the nurse this time and she said it was normal unless I had an STD which is impossible as I'm not sexually active. I'm not convinced its nothing because it's this persistent discharge all day everyday that smells awful and I've just had to learn to deal with it. I don't want it to be a thing that clears up with sex because what will my boyfriend think?? I'm seeing someone and its got to that point now, the only thing stopping me is this stupid discharge.

This is normal! I've always had a lot of discharge, actually especially before I had ever had sex. I've found that when I do have sex regularly the discharge lessens a bit. Right now I haven't had sex in five months so I have a ton of discharge again. It can be annoying, wet-feeling, kind of smelly, but it's definitely not because I'm dirty or diseased. I'm thirty and all my pap smears and pelvic exams have come up fine.

Me again - it's also never been a turnoff during sex! If anything having a lot of discharge makes sex enjoyable. If you are with someone who has some weird rigid idea of bodies needing to be neat and odorless, you should recommend they stop screwing humans and try a doll.

Omg I’m not alone!!!! My mum has the same thing as me so I think it may be biological. I’ve had it since I started my period so had to cope with it for 3 years!!! It’s like yellowish and like snot texture. It smells and I have to wear dailies which are thin pad things which give me wedges 24/7!!! Please help me find an answer to this!!!
