My 4 yr. old daughter, has sudden neck pain up the back of her head. She has done it more than once, but not for a long time. She did it again today. She will grab her neck & start crying saying her neck hurts, & within minutes it is over. What should I do? I told the doctor when she done this before, & he said saomething about something in the neck I really don't remember it has been so long. Can anyone help?
I would not go just by what the doctor said; if it happens again, I would insist that the doctor send her to a specialist. It might be nothing but it won't hurt to have it checked out.
I would take her to a chiropractor without hesitation. I have taken both of my children when they were very young for head/neck injuries. It's amazing what a difference and help it can make!
