If anyone can help me I'd greatly appreciate it! My girlfriend just had her period. She was experiencing symptoms of an infection and decided to take a home pregnancy test (a couple of days after her period). The test came out positive. This is obviously a strange situation because we last had sex right before her period started and Ive heard it takes longer after conception for a test to register. Anyway, if anyones experienced this or could help us please do!

has your girlfriend taken another test, because that happened to me except mine happened before my period i had 2 positive tests and since then ive had 3 negative. if you are worried the best thing would be to consult her doctor because although she had her period she could of concieved any time between her period just gone and her 1 before or it could be an false alarm. but generally false positive pregnancy are exetremely rare.
