Hey,
I recently realised that there this wierd lump near the back of my vagina, it dosen't hurt or anything but it seems hard. My period is also late now by 2 weeks :( Ive never thought about it but i dont really think it was there before. Im only 16 and im not sexually active, so i really want to ask if anyone knows what it is, and possibly whats causing this. Im really embarrased so i cant see a doctor about it but im also very scared. Is it normal?

Hi don't be afraid to go to the doctor because it could be something that can be taken care of . sometimes if you delay then it becomes a problem . I had cancer and was afraid also but the doctor wouldn't take no for answer . I was 21 at the time . ladies bodies go thru a lot of changes that are sometimes normal for that person but fill abnormal . Have it checked sweetie .
I agree, it's very uncomfortable if not plain flat out awkward when you go to a doctor about feminine issues. I'm 25 and I still sometimes get embarassed but it's worth the embarassment because you never know what could be going on with your body and when it comes to certain diseases or cancers early detection is key. Also, I know sometimes I have worried over something that turned out to be a normal part or process for my body. Good Luck

i really dont know what to do but i think il wait a while see if it goes away, if not then i'l go see a doctor for sure.
