Where is the pain located on your abdomen? Does it happen only when you start to exercise, unrelated to meals? Its not uncommon to feel sharp, stabbing pain when you strain yourself on the right lower side of your abdomen - that kind of pain is usually harmless and I've been told its related to spleen - it happens to me sometimes when I'm running. Also, what kind of exercises are you doing? It might be as simple as an abdominal muscle strain.
