Please all of you must look into the fact you may have an over load of intestinal parasites. Wait listen! Gross I know! I too had these symptoms of diarea, cold sweats that last for 20 min and the last time this happened I looked and noticed hundreds of tiny parasite eggs floating in the toilet water! they look like sesame seeds! I take diatomaceous earth and have not had any symptoms for a year! I could be wrong, but I believe these eggs are from intestinal flukes.

I've had similar symptoms from abdominal pain such as colitis flare ups and gallbladder attacks. It's a vagal nerve response. Once the pain recedes the symptoms go away. I get cold all over, beginning at the head and then flowing down to my feet, get sweaty, pale, pulse rate plummets and once I have fainted from this. My body feels numb and I have trouble speaking. It doesn't usually last very long ( 10 min or so) but it really tires me out for a few hours afterwards and it's scary as hell when it happens. Doesn't cause any lasting effects though.

I just had this at 3:00am and is scary! Has anyone talked to their doctor about it being a ruptured ovarian cyst?

Im so glad its not just me. Its absolutely terrifying. My heart feels like its in my throat and the dripping of sweat is unreal. Its about 10 mins to 20 also for me and i usually just try to sleep after because i still feel faint. EspecialIy when it starts (luckily ive been at home every time) was diagnosed with colitis a couple years back. I really do feel it has to do with this but im not a 100 percent sure either

Hello every one I have experienced this just last night at 0430. I woke with stomach pains and went to the washroom and sat on the toilet to relieve my self with no success. I only sat there for a couple minutes and found myself stretched out on the floor. I was dizzy, cold and my head was soaked with sweat. I climbed back onto the toilet and had a good bout of diarrhea. I felt just fine after. Very scarey experience.

I deal with this everyday, it's called epipolotic appendicitis. An MRI will confirm this. Medications can help but you should see a specialist. As it will not show up in ultrasound or blood work.

Hi there, do you get pain in your front (and back) under ribs area with this? I'm currently having chills / sweats with no raised temperature, pain, headaches and dizziness with a dry mouth. Bloods keep coming back normal but my kidneys did show increased echogenicity in an ultrasound (the dr thinks this may be a red herring but has sent the scan to a kidney doc for second opinion).

I've experience similar to these symptoms three times in the past year. But my episodes come with one symptom that nobody else seems to be mentioning. And it is the scariest symptom to me - a burning sensation that starts in my arms and then goes through my entire body until I'm barely able to move.
I was watching a movie with my husband. I felt some abdominal pain, so I went to the bathroom. While sitting on the toilet, my arms started burning and the sensation spread through my whole body. I lied down on the ground because I thought I was going to faint. I had cold sweats, pale skin, tremors and trouble breathing. I thought I was going to die. I was incapacitated for about five minutes just focusing on my breathing. The burning sensation continued, but I was finally able to open the bathroom door and call to my husband. He helped me get off the floor, but then I was back on the toilet for a major bout of diarrhea. I got better almost immediately following. Within a half hour I was perfectly fine. Very strange and scary!!!! I wish I knew what the cause was. I thought it was food poisoning, but I've had that many times in my life even with the muscle aches that last for several hours. But the severe burning sensation that floods under my skin is new and very scary!

Oh my gosh, I thought I was the only person going through this. As bad it is to say, I could honestly cry knowing I'm not the only one.

This started 3-4 years ago. There's never really a sign when it's going to happen other than the fact that it always occurs when I need to take a dump. My abdominal region would start hurting then BAM! Within seconds, I would get really nauseous and my whole body would be drenched in sweat and I feel like I'm going to pass out. Unfortunately, I would always have to lay down on the floor while I have these episodes which makes the clean up afterwards a hassle, to say the least. Of course these episodes lasts several minutes and once the diarrhea/fecal matter passes, I'm fine, albeit a little weak. It's the absolute worst sensation.

I have consulted my doctor about it, but because these happen so sporadically, it was hard for him to pinpoint what issues I was having.

I get these all of the time. Only at night. But I never make it to the toilet, I pass out. I stay out until my husband wakes me in the morning. He never hears a thing. I was diagnosed with crohns in 98. But my new GI doctor is testing me for celiacs. If I have it gluten is what causes it.

I have had these episodes a few times a year for many years, it’s extremely scary.
Oddly enough a few weeks ago I had a massive ovarian cyst removed and today I had another episode so mine wasn’t that because I have no ovaries ha ha!

I just had this happen too! Minus the outside working and I drink plenty of water.
Dinner was a chicken pot pie made with canned vegetables and cream chicken soup with a flaky crust on top, and didn't overeat. About 1.5 hours later I experienced this above and felt like I was gonna die as I laid down on the bathroom floor until some of the symptoms started subsiding. Then only a bit of vomiting of just mainly bile and then some slight diarrhea. So not sure what has caused this. Did you ever get any answers to this? Oh. I had also taken 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in water in the beginning of the extreme bloating, cramping and pains and 20 mins later barely made it to bathroom and almost passed out!
Did you ever get any answers to this?

Hii, I had one of this episode today morning for the 3rd tym since last year, I woke up with this dull, heavy pain in my entire abdomen area and lower back, I ran to the toilet, then the dizziness, chills and sweating started, I suddenly fatigued and felt so faint, nearly passed out, and the pain increasing by the seconds. I felt so helpless, couldn't scream, lost completely all of my strength, and the pain tearing me apart... It felt as if I was about to die,...this lasted for 10 minutes at most.. Then I was completely alright, I don't know the cause of it yet, the same happened two times past 6 months ago. After this 3rd attack, decided to visit a doctor... Hope Nothin' serious....
