Your symptoms sounds like what i had. I had pain in my ribs, found out it was from a hiatal hernia, i was also diagnosed with gastritis, inflammation of the stomach which caused me to have on and off constipation and diahhrea, i woke up every morning nausous and really really tired, i had no energy at all, always felt very faint no matter how much i increased my fiber, vitamins, fruit, vegies, iron, i still felt very faint. Having a colonoscopy and gastroscopy will help a lot. Hope you get better!! Keep smiling :)

I never would have guessed it,
but it was my gallbladder. I can't believe how really bad it was making me feel. I could tell immediately when they took it out that my fatigue was gone...its now a week later, and I'm still recovering, but I feel better than I've felt in the last year. Ask for the ultrasound, even if it shows nothing, get the hida scan w/cck as well...thats where my trouble showed up. The fatigue had gotten so bad that some days I didn't really want to live anymore. It was sooooo worth it. Good luck to you.

Please google systemic fungal infection! I have had the same problem! Doc after doc, normal test after normal test. I just got diagnosed after 4 long and torturous years. I hope this will help some of you!!! You can be normal again! And the test you need for diagnosis is a blood culture for fungus and bacteria! A simple blood culture...some antifungal meds and a strict antifungal diet, and your free...

I have had the same symptoms for years, the problem is, is that they are such generic symptoms that they can be caused by a number of different problems, keep going back to your doctor or try a naturopath until you get it sorted becauase living with the pain and symptoms is bloody annoying to say the least. I recently cut out all foods over a week detox and then slowly introduced everything again, I believe it was dairy that wasn't agreeing with me as I tend to get all the symptoms when I eat something dairy related. I have also been diagnosed with poly cystic ovary syndrome (cysts on your ovaries) which is very common apparently 1 in every 5 women have it, I believe it has also had something to do with these symptoms. To lesson the symptoms cut out dairy, sugar, most gluten, stick to one coffee a day, drink plenty of water (even more than you think) and eat lots and lots of vegetables (especially green leafy vege), and I know it's hard when you don't have the energy but try to exercise for 30 minutes a day (even a walk will benefit you). But keep persisting that your doctor do more to find out what it is, and don't stop until you get an answer and a solution. Best of luck to you all!

Good luck with it and it is a good sign that they didnt find anything through the gastroscopy, at least thats one thing out of the way and i am sure it is nothing serious, most of the time it isnt. All these symptoms we have end up being something really small and manageable.

superstar27 I have had the same problems and my CD test also came back negative. This has been going on since I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes 8 years ago. Recently I was rediagnosed with Type 2 and we are trying to get me off insulin. Well, I also have kidney disease, throid problems and muscle cramping. I was on high blood pressure and diuretics for the whole time. Recently I ran out of my bills and decided to try and live without them. After two weeks I realized that my stomachs problems disappeared. I went to the bathroom normally and had no explosive diahrrea or chronic constipation. My blood pressure started to go up and I renewed my pills. Two days ago I went back on them and this morning explosive diahrrea. It is so embarrasing because I can't get to the bathroom in time. However, it does not continue for a few days, only a couple of hours. Does this sound familiar?
