Does anyone know what the following abnormal CBC results are indicative of?White Blood Count 11.7
Hemocrit 35.5
Neutrophil% 75.6
Lympocyte % 14.6
Monocytes % 8.7
Neutrophil # 8.8
All I know is that hospital insisted that I carry a copy of the test results to my doctor.

The results aren't alarming other than a possible infection. The wbc count is not really elevated normal is 4.8-10.8. The other results can go along with an infection of some type. However, the results could be a indicator of an underlying disease. Don't worry probably a simple infection. Your doctor will probably order more blood work or other tests to rule out anything else. You'll be fine.
I had a CBC last week and everything was normal. I know that a CBC can't identify if you do/do not have HIV, but since my white count was normal, can I rule out HIV as an infection?
