dOES ABORTION IN THE FIRST MONTH OF PRAGNANCY ALSO CAUSES BLEEDING
Some womeen may expereince bleeding 3-6 weeks after abortion, even with small clots. Others on the other hand don't bleed at all. Both options are normal.
Hello rabia,
Depending on the method of abortion, the pills or surgical procedure, the bleeding caused by an abortion might be heavier and longer, or shorter and relatively lighter. But the time when abortion is performed shouldn’t have any major effect on whether you will bleed or not. Like Mark said, some women tend to bleed more, some less and it still doesn’t mean anything.
The bleeding after an abortion, even when it’s done in the first month, is caused by small ruptured vessels inside your uterus, much like your menstrual bleeding. There also might be some abdominal pain or cramping. Still, in most cases, this bleeding doesn’t last longer than three to six weeks after an abortion.
