I had an abortion about 4 weeks ago and i still haven't gotten my period. I was told that is hould come between 3- 5 after. So hopefully nothing is wrong with me...right? Also, I was told that I should wait until the 1st Sunday during/after my period to start myself on birth control. Honestly, I just want to start takin them this Sunday no matter what... would that be ok?

Did you bleed after the abortion, and did you go for a follow-up visit to make sure everything went ok? This is really important, because it is very easy to get an infection. I can't believe your doctor didn't give you any information.
If so, my doctor told me you can start taking the pills any time after the abortion. I started mine one week after the procedure. It doesn't really matter when you start taking them, you just need to start them if you plan on having sex again. Be safe!
