I am a nurse working 7pm to 7am. I am always flip flopping my shifts. This has made my life long struggle with depression much worse even though the medication I am on helps alot. The Dr diagnosed me with 'third shift syndrome' and prescribed adderall along with my antidepressant I already take. This has made a HUGE difference for me! As a medical professional I did my research before taking the medication. This medication does have a potential for being addicting, but in my mind, I will need to take antidepressants for the rest of my life anyway, so if it works what difference does it make?
