What are the side effects of adhd medications? I guess that they are effective in children with this disorder, but I’ve heard that side effects that may occur are not so benign. Do you know anything about that? Can this disorder be managed without using drugs? I’m afraid that it can not be safe to use long term medications at that age.
Side effects of adderal and stimulant adhd medications are weight loss and loss of appetite. They also cause sleeping problems, even insomnia that is associated with drowsiness. Nausea, vomiting and stomach pain are likely to occur. Sensation of dry mouth and increased heart rate are present too. I think that these are good enough reasons for avoiding adhd medications.
