I don't even know wrong with me. /: I don't really have anything in common with anyone on here besides throwing up the yellow stuff.. I ate before I drank, I drank a glass of water with every shot(I had two shots and a beer), etc.. I even drank more water a bit before sleeping to be sure.... I still woke up with a really bad hangover and throwing up.... I've never been a heavy drinker. The closest I've been to being a heavy drinker was when I drank twice in a month.. I drink maybe once every six months.... I don't even get trashed.. I get barely more than a buzz and still end up sick. /:

This is a pliable response -but- more likely your body has developed an intolerance to alcohol. Take comfort in the fact that your body rejects it (alcohol) in this severity, because it likely means that you are incapable of becoming an alcoholic. Just accept the fact its time to quit. There are better things out there than a love affair with something that makes you puke everytime you consume it... -I speak from EXPERIENCE... -just leave it alone.

Alcohol isn't the best drug. I used to like Alcohol but now it's just nasty and it makes me feel like sh*t. If you want to still have your sanit, imagination and not feel like death the next day, then stick to Marijuana (Cannabis). Safest way to explore your mind and have fun with friends without poisioning yourself, enjoy!

The bile CAN be due to the stomach having nothing left to vomit but that's not always the case. The last two times I've had a few social drinks, which is rare, ,I had dinner before hand, water, and a few drinks that were spread out over several hours. The next morning, I vomited bile. Not stomach contents, not alcohol, just bile. And I had PLENTY of food in my stomach , so my vomiting bile had nothing to do with an empty stomach. I was very, very ill both times with the hardest pounding headache I've ever had.

Alcohol intolerance is caused by a genetic condition in which the body is unable to break down alcohol. The only way to prevent alcohol intolerance is to avoid alcohol altogether.such as chemicals, grains or preservatives. In other cases, reactions are caused by combining alcohol with certain medications. In rare instances, reactions to alcohol can be a sign of a serious underlying health problem that requires diagnosis and treatment.

Alcohol intolerance can cause immediate, unpleasant reactions after you consume alcohol. The most common signs and symptoms of alcohol intolerance are nasal congestion and skin flushing. This condition is sometimes inaccurately referred to as an alcohol allergy. Alcohol intolerance is caused by a genetic condition in which the body is unable to break down alcohol.

You might be onto something here. Some of the direct breakdown products of alcohol itself are highly toxic e.g. acetaldehyde - if these breakdown products are not being eliminated quickly and efficiently (like they used to be when we were younger) it could explain some of the extreme sickness and illness many of us have been experiencing.

After reading on here about taking Ranitidine before drinking, I decided to give it a shot as I was experiencing the same things as people here. Extremely nauseous and prolonged vomiting the next day after drinking. It wasn't every time, but I was always so nauseous when hung over. About once a month I would vomit a lot. So far after taking this I haven't been nauseous at all the next day even after drinking a lot. I've also been taking milk thistle, B12, and a multivitamin everyday too. But I really think its the Ranitidine thats working. I think the alcohol was making my body overproduce stomach acid which would in turn irritate my stomach lining causing nausea. Since this stuff is a pump inhibitor, it regulates the amount of acid produced which diminishes the yellow bile I was always throwing up. So maybe give it a shot and see if it works for you too.

I have the same problem it's been happening for little over a year and ive noticed that if I smoke (marijuana) at the end of the night when I'm done drinking I never throw up the next day. If I don't smoke im puking on and off for up to 10 hours, it's terrile and only bile or yellow acid. I know it's not a possible solution for everyone but I figure it may help out some people

This has been happening to me for a long time. My friends always react with "but you weren't even drunk, why would you vomit for that long?" I'm curious; is anyone hypoglycemic? I am a diagnosed hypoglycemic. I was administered the three hour Glucose Tolerance Test and failed. Perhaps we're having trouble digesting all the sugar. I have set limits on my drinking and I make sure I always pour my own at parties so I can keep track.

Have you started taking birth control perhaps? That made me super sensitive to alcohol and I got terrible hangovers. Taking antidepressants can also make you more sensitive for a while. Personally, I've found Dramamine (diphenhydramine) essential to combating hangover nausea. It will make you sleep but it is miraculous.
