The very last time I took Guinness Stout was like around 10 years ago. However, recently my allergy symptoms came back. I have actually stopped taking alcohol once I knew I had allergy to it. Unfortunately, few days ago I celebrated my 4th Year Anniversary with my bf, and he really cares for me, just that not knowing he's a lil bit lacking of experiences about beer, wine, and other alcohols. I let him decide what we shud be ordering, and he ordered a cocktail. After I drank it, I was still ok for a moment coz we're eventually under the air-cond. Sooner, I went to toilet and began to feel hot, and got all those flush on my face, and feeling so uncomfortable. He then took care of me for the whole night until I have recovered from slight fever. We then go to the doctor, and the doctor confirmed that my body had shown a warning sign of not accepting any type of alcohol, which symptoms are rashes, tiny welts all over the body, worst of all is my fever kept coming and go. I would like to know if anyone had this experiences?? And how long does it takes to completely heal from this? What preventions must we do about food? Thanks a lot!!
Beer is high in gluten. Sounds like celiac disease to me.
