I am 36 years old and have noticed over the course of the last 6 months to a year that my periods are heavier and increasingly more painful. I've gain weight and am very emotional (depression, anger, anxiety). I wake up every two hours during the night and have VERY frequent urination (at least once every hour of the day, more in the morning). I have not had sex with a man in over 3 years, nor have I missed a period, so pregnancy is impossible. Any explanations???
I reckon that you are too young for menopause and besides having problems with periods, you have no other menopausal symptoms.
Your problems are probably hormonal in nature, and weight gain and anxiety and depression are not contributing factors. If you have never given birth, your hormones may be raging as well.
This happen to me too. I think that my body’s telling me I should give birth as I am experiencing all sorts of hormonal changes and my tests are fine. My period has changed, it became more tensed, painful with cramps and I developed cyclic moodiness.
Try to manage your emotional problems, find some stress relief, have a blood test done, see if everything’s in order.
