Will Amoxil still be effective if I consume alcohol while taking it?

Amoxicillin will still be effective if you have a few drinks, or even more than a few drinks... unless you get so drunk that it causes you to forget a dose or puke it out, of course ;).
Drinking while on antibiotics still isn't the best of ideas. Think of it like this. You have an infection, for which you're taking antibiotics. Alcohol is bad for your health, especially if you have a lot. Antibiotics are also processed by the liver. Do you really want to reduce your health by combining the two?
Just wait until you are all done with the antibiotics. It's just better.
