So first off some backround, I've been using anal stimulation in masturbation for a little while now, usually with my finger or a stylus like thing with a rounded end.
I've never used any kind of lubricant with it before, but very recently I used some lotion. It felt pretty good but afterwards when I went to the bathroom a little blood came out. This kinda scared me so I looked up info and I've found reports that lotion is alright with anal masturbation and that it's not. I'm very confused.
the exact lotion is used was Lubriderm Advanced Therapy, it says for external use only on the back which worries me a lot.
Could it be that maybe I was just a little bit too rough and that's what the blood was from? And will the lotion just pass through eventually?

Most likely the blood is as a result of being too rough. Use caution in the future. The anus is very vasuclar, lots of blood vessels, and can bleed easily.
Never use any product labeled for "external use only" internally. It can contain chemicals that can cause illness or in some cases increase your risk of cancer.
Use only water based lubricants such as KY.
