It would be very unlikely for you to get pregnant having sex on the day your period starts, or even the next day.  There is no egg and it is very unlikely that his sperm won't be alive when you ovulate.

Normally you ovulate between days 11 and 16 of your cycle.  Day 1 is when your period starts.  Sperm can survive about 5 days, so you are about 5 days to early, at least.

ok. so just out of curiousity, some girls got pregnant from having unprotected sex during their period and even one of my friends went through that and told me that there's a 50/50 chance to get pregnant from doing it that way, so now i'm confuse.

It depends upon how far along they are into their period. If it's near the end, yes, they can get pregnant.

You can't get pregnant if there is no egg to fertilize. That happens, on average, between about days 11 and 16 of your cycle. Day 1 is when your period STARTS. Sperm can survive about 5 days.

With ANY sexual contact there is a risk. Sometimes you release multiple eggs.

Finally, the odds of pregnancy are never 50/50. At best, when the timing and everything is "perfect" the odds are only about 1 in 5.

hello again eheh, I got some few questions it's about pregnancy test?....so uuum yeah I went to the dollar store to buy two pregnancy test there so as soon as I got home I took the first one which is 8 days before missed period and it came out negative so I waited the next day to take another one in the morning and it came out very very fainted line but you can see (7 days before) so I another one the next morning (6 days before) and the 2nd line shows a bit more than before test, so I went to walmart to buy a first response to see if it's going to give the same test I got from the dollar store preg test....so I took the first response the next morning and the second line came out very fainted like very very fainted so I just want to know if it's a positive?
