I have pelvic pain & a suspicion of endometriosis, none was seen during laproscopy but I've been told it's possible to have microscopic endo. My pelvic ache does seem to increase during the time of my period. I'm getting nerve block shots & see a physical therapist. The latest suggestion is to try lupron.
anyone have experiences with lupron, Good or bad, I'd like to know?
thanks

I had 6 months worth of that! It worked amazingly for the pain, unfortunately it did not last for me. It was the best 6 months of no pain though. I would definately try it because if it works, awesome, if it doesnt at least you will not be suffering! I did experience some peri-menopausal symptoms (hot flashes) but thats nothing but annoying. The only time i had relief from symptoms was during that 6 mths and while i was pregnant. Unfortunately, i chose to have a hysterectomy when i was 28 ... 4 yrs of suffering was enough for me! If the first docs i saw in the first 3 yrs of symptoms actually believed i was in pain and not just "crazy" (i am bi-polar), this could've been prevented. By the time i moved to another city and went to a doc who actually knew what to look for, they said it was too late and too much damage had been done. I hope its not too late for you!! Keep on top of it!
I tried lupron and absolutely hated it. yes it helped with the pain but the side effects for me were terrible i had massive hot flashes and when i wasnt angry i was crying the mood swings were insane. i also went from being 110 pds to 150. everyone is different though u may not have bad side effects. my doctor also recently suggested i go on it again because my endo is severe. i told him that was not going to happen. id rather deal with pain. and the pain is getting terrible again but id rather take my chances until i absolutely cant take it anymore before i ever try that again.
