you are incorrect, you can lose weight just by eating proper amounts of the proper nutritions and fats that you need in one day. ive done it and I lost 35 lbs in 3 months. I still have the food journal and the proper portions of calories I need a day so that my body doesn't go into starvation mode. originally when I was put ont he diet I was told I do not eat enough meals in a day so my body stores the fat so that I don't starve. I had to start eating 3 meals with the proper intake and that's when I finally lost 35 lbs. if anyone does need help message me I know how it goes.
