Just took the 4 azithromycin pills for chlamydia today. They said that it takes 7days to fully work but I've read in other places that it's much quicker (24-48hrs). I have a new boyfriend and we are supposed to have this huge date tomorrow. We haven't had sex yet so I never infected him. Thing is I know sex is going to be a component of this date. Of course I plan on using a condom but was wondering the chances of infecting him 24 hours after treatment and with the use of a condom.

Wait the week. It does take time for the infection to not only be stopped but to be eliminated from your body.
Even with the condom there is a risk. Chlamydia can be passed through the mucous membranes, such as parts of the genitals. All it takes is some of your secretions contacting his mucous membranes - possibly from removing the condom or from his hands touching his penis, etc.
