Hey guys so I was wondering if anyone can tell me what is going on. About a month and a half ago I had sex with this person, we used a condom but being the extreme anxious person I am, I keep freaking myself out tho king I have something like an STD. I ended up getting a really bad yeast infection shortly after as I usually do when I use condoms. It was so bad that it spread to the outside of my vagina and all over the rest of my stuff. I went to the doctor and he prescribed me flucanazole which I took 2 doses as well as a 7 day Monistat treatment. That went away and I was feeling good until I got a really bad UTI my guess is because of the many baths I was taking to soothe the skin from my yeast infection. So I went to the doc and got prescribed the antibiotic Cipro for 8 days and that went away so I was again feeling good. I noticed recently however that my clitoris is now tender and when I pull it back to look at it, it is red and feels inflamed. There is a white lint like substance underneath and I'm wondering if it could be from my yeast infection earlier that may have spread to my clitoris and now is causing a problem. I'm super tired of worrying and just need some reassurance. I also got std tested with everything coming back negative. Is anyone else experiencing or has experienced this?! And if so what worked for you?! I go to my doc in a week so I'll talk to him then but until then any suggestions?

Hi, it sounds like because you have been on antibiotics and they fight bacteria Wether it's good or bad it has killed that off the bacteria what helps your body fight yeast infections.
If you suffer from yeast infections either internal or external try eating natural unsweetened yogurt daily as it should help build your immune system up and you can also try putting some of the same unsweetened natural yogurt on and around the area where your noticing the redness and swelling and leave it on for about half hour before rinsing off with water and the bacteria in that should help to kill the yeast off.
There are a few home remedies on the net that work for some people if you do a Google search for yeast infection home remedies.
