I have this lump, feels like a small grease ball in my left underarm. I have asked my Gyn that when she does my regular breast exam to examine it. She has examined it twice and has come to the conclusion that I should not worry. This is, I guess I am going to have to get a second opinion. Before it would bother me because when I wear sleeveless blouses or bathing suits my underarm looked kind of thick, but of course, why get a second opinion much less an operation because my underarm looks overweight? Thing is, now my left underarm is not only overweight but in pain. Over the last 5 months here this pain, kind of like a sharp uncomfortable pain. I examine it (much more thoroughly than my doc) I can feel my sweat glands, and then there its is this ball in between or who knows, an inflammation in the sweat gland hurting like hell! I live in a third world country, well at least in medicine it is third world-and I would like to have an idea of what it is so I can get it operated! It is about he size of a an olive maybe a little bigger. I just want to clarify it is not on the exterior-I have to dig my fingers in between my glands to feel it but t is definitely getting bigger- can I ex ray it.. what should I do -
I'm not sure what it is but you should definitely seek out a second opinion. If it causes pain, then that's an issue, no matter what it is. First, I think it might be a good idea to seek out your gyno just to make sure that she knows about the pain associated with it, then seek out a second opinion if she does nothing about it. Keep us posted, okay?
