Hi. I am 52 years old. It is hard to be a father, especially in my age. My daughter is 16 years old and she is in puberty. You can imagine how hard it is to raise a teenager. Being an older parent, however, has its` prons and cons. I am wiser and more understandable, but I have lost all of my patience.
Hi. I completely agree with you. I am an older parent myself. I am 50 years old and my wife is 37. She has just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy and we are having some rough time now. I can`t wake up at night just like that. He is crying like all the time. But we adore our baby boy. He is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. This is my first child, and it makes it even harder for me, because I haven`t got any experience.
I don't see any reason why an older parent can't be as good as a younger one, although my freinds parents were unable to retire until he was in university because they wouldn't be able to support him, to they ended up working well into their late 60's.
It does have a profound impact on the children, they are much more mature and level headed.

Try spanking! That should help her!
