Hi iice,
I posted here previously regarding my experience with withdrawal and how I got clean for good. I know I may be too late to help you with your wedding day, however, I hope maybe I could help with your future endeavors for staying clean and sober. Regarding something for energy, when I went through detox, I took something called Withdrawal Relief Complex. The products are designed specifically for opiate withdrawal relief and relieved my lethargy symptoms and sooo much more...I got hooked on prescription painkillers and Suboxone then had to get off cause it was literally sucking the life out of me. My husband and I researched this product and found it to be the best on the market. It's more expensive than certain OTC stuff, but it will effectively get you through the process and you don't have to figure out a combo yourself or guess dosage or risk damaging liver etc. This does it for you. I had little energy on my first day of w/d and when I started taking the withdrawal complex it completely changed. I started feeling better in 5 hours. I was so happy.
The company is Pure Health Group. We purchased the package online, paid a little more for expedited shipping and it got to me pretty quick which was a relief cause I wanted to just get started and start moving forward with my life.
I know there have been many posts with other remedies for getting through withdrawal and I imagine they are somewhat effective and will help you out a little. I just know that the withdrawal relief product I took was SAFE, effective, all natural and I did not worry about damaging anything else, liver etc......when I began taking it. Also, the second product that comes with the system is all about restoring your brain receptors, getting them rebalanced and it has helped me from relapsing and craving my old drugs. I truly feel you will benefit too from their stuff; I really hope this helps you out, and I hope your wedding was amazing.

Hey US Blue23,
I have previously posted in this conversation and just replied to another person regarding my experience. After my detox was done, I used a product designed to keep me from craving the drugs anymore. Like you (congrats on getting through your w/d and detox process so far!), my physical dependency was gone, but I still had thoughts and emotional ties to the painkillers (and Suboxone ugh). I had gone through detox with a product called Withdrawal Relief Complex, which served two purposes, 1, to get me through detox and 2, to help prevent cravings and me relapsing. The detox was extremely successful. I literally felt better within 5 hours of taking the stuff. I don't know if you still need that but it could not hurt I'm sure!
The second part was the craving control pills. I took them after I successfully detox ed. Really it has changed my life. Before I was very nervous about relapse and cravings, but, this product really prevented the cravings from coming. (I had tried getting off before and was unsuccessful because the cravings were very overwhelming). I too have a very supportive husband and have as a result, been able to stay clean and sober! The company is called Pure Health Group and you can order the stuff online. I spent a great deal of time researching the best avenue for me, so, I hope my post to you will save you some time and truly help you out. Good luck with things!

I started the Loperamide rx this morning after a 5 year Oxycodone/Tramadol dependency. I took 15 2mg Lopes at 7:30 and within 30 minutes the WD symptoms stopped. It is now 4:22 in the afternoon and I'm still feeling normal. So far so good. This is day 1. We will see how I do tonight when the RLS symptoms usually kick in.

I just wanted to contribute to this discussion a little. Ive been opiate addicted for about 6 years now (Oxycontin, fentanyl mostly) and have been taking Subutex for 2 years now. I stabilized and then dropped down to a little less than 2 mg per day for the last year. Almost 10 days ago I found out that the 9 mg I had left was the LAST 10 mg I was able to get. So I have been drastically cutting my dose since then. I finally resorted to just crushing the remaining Sub into powder and just getting a tiny bit on my finger...hoping it would still work. Well it has been working but it seems like I have just been in a very mild state of WD the entire time and it sucks. So I've been looking at a lot of these forums to try and find encouragement. My problem is that my boyfriend of almost 2 years doesnt have the first clue that I have been on Subutex at ALL and I know he just woudn't get it. So I have to go through this alone. I think that makes it even more terrifying. Like what am I gonna say when I'm in acute withdrawal? Ive gone through it enough times to know that I completely fall apart. So while I'm trying to cope with my body hating me right now... and mood swings from HELL, I'm also trying to just smile and act like I'm fine. All I want to do is disappear for a couple weeks right now but it just isn't possible.
Anyway... today I went to the store and bought a bottle of Imodium. I wasn't really sure if I should wait until I completely jump and am in active WD or not... but the mild WD I've been in for a few days is driving me nuts already (I'm a big baby when it comes to pain!!) So I said to hell with it and took 2 Imodium (I just wanted to make sure I didnt have a bad reaction to it first). After about 45 minutes I noticed I was feeling the TEENY TINIEST bit better (remember...MILD WD right now). So I took 3 more and that was close to an hour ago. I'm now writing this and feeling a great deal better than I was before I took it. I have enough Sub powder left to take one more time but I'm now thinking, if the Imodium will really make this much of a difference...I guess I should just jump right now and pray that it will help more later too.
I'm so scared right now... It's been too long on this c**p and I just want to be me again. I'm so tired of hiding my addiction...Thanks for reading and any prayers/encouragement are more than welcomed!!
Good luck to all of us!!

I've used hydrocodone 10/325 (7-10 per day) for the past 8 or 9 years. I routinely run out a week early and I can attest to the fact that Lope stops 99.98% of all opiate withdrawals. I took my last 6 vics yesterday, woke up this morning craving pills like crazy. A quick trip to the dollar general store and I was back with 60 tabs of loperamide 2mg tabs for 4$4.75. I swallowed 20 (40mg's) and within 30 minutes, I felt fine. NOT high, but fine, no mental cravings, no sweats, no constantly jonesing for pills, I felt fine. So yes, Lope will save you some serious withdrawal symptoms when you run out of hydrocodone, that's a fact.
