You can mix 2 cups of apple sauce.. non sugar.. with one cup of all bran and it will help keep you regular during this process or if you are still using opiates.. but again.. God Bless you who ever you are for posting this advice on how to quit this c**p.. the problem I'm having is the post withdrawl depression.. but I'm so happy to be away from that methadone.. it nearly killed me when I started tapering off of it but they don't tell you that c**p when you start.. I swelled from head to toe and ended up in the hospital with pancreatitis because of biliary spasms and such.. you can find it if you look hard enough but they don't want you to know about that.. they make too much money off of us poor suckers.. thanks again..

Well - I went to my doctor after I got clean and wondered how I got through it, I just said some OTC meds really helped (didn't mention anything specific). As for my appt, my nerves were shot, blood pressure was high - so my doc put me on Klonopin which I never heard of, I said sure, hope it works. It did everything it was supposed to do. Keep in mind I have been on 1.5mg daily for 1.3 years. I tried to come off of it and HOLY COW!!!! ============ Dont' do it. An opiate withdrawal is a WALK IN THE PARK X 10 then 1.5 mg of Klonopin. I tapered down for month (whole month I felt like c**p. One time I felt I was going to mentally loose it. Bad stuff all around. Called into work off/on for 2 weeks and telecommute for work.
Bottom Line: STAY AWAY FROM KLONOPIN / XANEX - ALL DRUGS THAT FIT UNDER BENZOS.
NOT WORTH IT. Imagine feeling like when you wake up, your chest is TIGHT, you are shaking, Straight up looked like a drug addict. Don't EVERY stop this stuff one day - LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES PLEASE.
Anyone - Please read this if you are completing getting off Klonopin due to opiate withdrawal. Klonopin is way-way-way-way more dangerous then a roxi or vicoden.

I just wanted to say thank you and this does work!!! I've taken every opiate I could get my hands on for over 5 years and went through many withdrawls of peer hell!!! I tried 25 loperamide and it took away every symptom and my nervousness for more. Thank you for this advice and I will definetly pass this along. There is light at the end of the tunnel! Keep going. I did the same song and dance as you - trying over and over to quit. I don't know why I never used the loperamide before, but I tried this time and now I am over two months clean! I used the loperamide daily and tapering off is a breeze compared to the pain pills.
I thought it was placebo effect the first time, but it really does work.

I'm thinking if it didn't help you.. you didn't take enough... although I don't know what pain issue you had if any that you started taking the Norco for.. But it could be that if you had a pain issue that got you started with the Norco then perhaps it is something that requires more than what the immodium can do.. or perhaps it's because of the combination of the Norco and the ambien but I can tell you that it definitely does work.. and my body usually reacts ass backwards from everyone elses but this actually does stop the w/ds My problem is the depression.. I hate that part of w/ds and am having a hard time with that.. But DON'T GIVE UP AND GIVE IN,, I'll be praying for you and the rest of us.. Addiction has taken the better part of the last 6 years of my life and I'm ready for God to help me with this and to commit to quiting my addiction before it kills me.. I have so much more I could offer to help others if I get over this c**p.. don't let this c**p take your life.. try it again and use what ever it takes to help... trust me it does work... you just aren't gonna get the euphoria that you get with the other.. I for one am ready to get free of this awful vicious cycle and live a life with purpose instead of being a money sucking drain on my family and waist of space... You can do it.. WE can do it... so i just wanted to put my two cents in. I have been researching this for 3 days while knowing i was about to run outta norco 10s.....a 7 year, 15 a day usage. I tried this and i am truly amazed. I feel great. NOT euphoric like most say, but going from full blown w/d to feeling this good, ill take it. I only wish i knew about this sooner, as i go thru w/d about once a month as i am too stuoid to not run out....i dont learn. Anyways for anyone trying to just feel better this does work. a miracle in my book. I did take the zantec first, but not sure if that helped. i think its just the loperamide.....hope this helps someone. no sense in suffering if you dont have to. i know alot of people say no, its not possiblke, but for ME, its nothing short of a miracle......anyone else experience this???i went from suicidal, restless legs, all the normal symptons, to actually being able to function........like to hear anyone elses story with this. have a great day

My usage was almost identical to yours. Using loperamide, it's been almost three months of sobriety. No problems using this after trying cold turkey I don't know how many times. Each week, something new returns to normal, like I forgot what it was like to not have cotton mouth. Had to always have water close by before. At least I have peace of mind now knowing that if I ever need them again, it's not a problem to quit.

loperamide works. you can take up to 20 but increase only up to where your symptoms subside. you will be okay. no shame in your body's addiction to pain medicine. God bless you. everything will be okay.

This totally works!! In at 15 hours without anything right now and I'm amazed at how good I feel. I get all of my anxiety while withdrawing in my stomach so this is a godsend for me. I hope I feel this good tomorrow, if I do I know I will quit for good!

Congratulations and keep going! I took my last pain pill in mid November. I still thought about the pills for a month, but it was no problem because the loperamide took away ALL physical withdrawal. You will find that you wake up and half the day is over before you even think about it. Keep checking back here for support if you need to.

I can assure you it works.Absolute miracle. AAron is a God send. I have been 2 days off prescribed opiate in prep for some nasty Hep-C meds. 1st dose, 15-2mg. generic immodium, 1/2 glass grapefruit juice, 1/2 of tonic water, 1 Robitussin tab. and other than a sour stomach. I felt great. I even slept. I did wake up sick, but 45min. after taking the same amount of ingredients, I felt fine again. Last about 6-7 hours.Be sure to drink lots of water and eat if u can I am sitting down to breakfast now with a healthy appeitite
