When I get an erection sometimes my head gets to big for my foreskin to go over it. Does this happen to anyone else? I have about a 6.5in penis my girth is about 5in.

The average size of a man's penis when erect does not vary a great deal...
That being said, the degree of his level of excitment does seem to affect just how wide the stomata(the valves) open, and so, how large or firm his erection becomes.
Some teens and young men report that they become more stiff and erect during periods when they have not had an orgasm recently... or when they are highly aroused and anticipate an orgasm... while others claim that when they get erect, it is always about the same size.
You say that sometimes the head (glans) of your penis gets too big for the foreskin to go over it.
I assume that your saying the head peaks out of the end... but you might also mean that the skin retracts so much that it will not slide back over the head for stimulation purposes.
I would have to assume with most uncircumcized men that their foreskin retracts either when they push into enter the woman, OR that in the vigorous action of intercourse. I assume that it slides back and stays back, giving them more direct skin contact and friction ON the glans.
But for masturbation purposes, they might want the foreskin to stay forward, and protect their glans from too intense direct stimulation. Some men claim that the majority of their sensation is in the nerve of the foreskin.
I'd like to hear from an experienced uncircumsized man just how this works for them, as I don't experience this... being circumcized since birth. 8-|

Well I know that when I have intercourse and masturbation, since my head gets filled with blood it tends to get to big for my foreskin. Now I have a decent penis, thick foreskin. As women say the thicker the skin is the better the sex. But I know that when I have sex or masterbate I almost come everytime almost the same time. You know what I mean. Say for instance I come in 10 minutes during intercourse everytime. I know that when I masturbate I come almost 3 minutes. I enjoy using a penis ring to get both effects of being curcumsized and uncut. When I have sex my foreskin doesnt retract unless I lose my erection. No friction. But just have to wash it more often. I love being uncircumcised. I think that all the women that I have slept with say that they perfer uncut to cut after having sex with me.

Ah-ha, I think you're saying that your head is too big for your foreskin to retract or pull back during sex or masturbation. :o
It's great that you're so satisfied with how long you last, and that your partners are pleased as well. Sounds like all is working well for you.
So, I'm not sure I understand why you think your head is too big for your foreskin. Does it hurt? Or are you saying this gets in the way of sex?
I also hear you say that you use a penis ring to simulate being circumcised (during masturbation, or during intercourse too?) and that you've enjoyed that also.
I had not heard that women feel thicker foreskins mean better sex... unless it aids in the natural slipping and sliding and thrusting during intercourse. I would think that a man who lasts longer (for whatever reason... foreskin, stamina, experience) would allow a woman to build to climax more often. So I guess that makes sense. 8)
It's a pity that we can't switch back and forth between circumcised and uncircumcised to experience it both ways.
From those adult men who have had a circumcision AFTER becoming sexually active, most report extreme sensitivity of the glans at first, until it becomes more used to constant contact, and then, a decrease in sensitivity. Therefore, they frequently report that they preferred being uncircumcised until circumstances required them to get the operation.
PS: If the situation IS that the foreskin is too tight for you, there is a simple procedure that can be done in a doctor's office on an out-patient basis. The "dorsal slit" allows for greater movement and lets the foreskin retract more easily. However, in your case, since you are so obviously pleased with your current condition, you may not want to consider this. A doctor can advise you better in this area. I believe after the "dorsal slit" you still retain all your nerve endings and sex is just as enjoyable. But ask him when you visit next. 8)

I think that's quite common. If it bothers you, you can stretch the opening so it retracts easily.

If you're going to try stretching the foreskin to allow a greater opening, the watchword is to go SLOWLY... this takes TIME... don't be expecting a solution in just a week... but it may take months...
Constant attention and regular GENTLE stretching is what I hear most practicioner advise.
Good luck.
Let us know how this works for you, alright? 8)

Yes, I would say it took me several months to accomplish what I wanted.
Bambi27 has a good description of another method here.

Thanks for advice on this matter. Its not so much the fact of my foreskin being to tight, its more along the line of when I get a really hard erection (which happens alot due to being in Iraq) i start to masturbate and my head gets to big for the foreskin to come back to the top. That seems to be the problem. When I would have sex with one women, I would start to have sex and my penis head would get to big for it to come out. Now its not like I have a mispurpotionate penis, it just seems that I think my penis could get a lot bigger than I think it could. Any other suggestions on this matter?

OK. I think I now understand that you're saying the head of your penis swells so large due to sexual excitement, that the foreskin will not slide back to cover it once again. As long as you're erect, your glans is then exposed. I thought this was the way it normally became exposed... but I guess it could be uncomfortable if you were expecting it to return to sheild the head during sex.
I'm not familiar with this. It sounds like an abnormality that I've not seen.
I'm not sure what to tell you, other than to suggest an examination by a doctor and consideration of a "dorsal slit".
Sorry I can't be of more help.
Anyone else?

TravelingMan,
Are you saying that you have phimosis?
You can find that defined on wikipedia.org together with some photos and advice on treatment (both surgical and non-surgical).
There is also a great article on the left side of the column here on Steadyhealth.com under the Men's Zone, penile problems forum.
Based upon a link that Njoynlife supplied, I have read a little about this "tool" for the stretching of the foreskin.
See if this doesn't answer some of your questions. (I'm not endorsing this tool, only referring you to the link so that you may comment if this is your condition and if this is what you want to do with/to your foreskin.... to clarify.)

No thats not it. Phimosis, that is. I guess its hard to explain. lol. I have been trying to think of the right words to put, but I think I am just making this a bigger deal than it is. Do you know if we are aloud to show pictures? Cause that would probaly make the best sense.

Sorry, travelingman,
Official policy is that pictures are not allowed on this site, and it's very likely that they'll be deleted as soon as they are noticed.
However, until a moderator or supervisor spots them, they might be viewed.
Certainly, when a moderator sees one, they'll get a more clear image of what you're talking about.... just before they are required to delete them...
In the past, we've allowed a few diagrams or out of focus pics to stay up for a while, which have helped clarify a great deal.
But general formal policy is NOT to allow photos, as I'm sure you can understand.
If you WERE to snap and post a picture, I'd make sure that it focuses on exactly what you're trying to address, and would not be considered porn or erotic in nature, if you follow me. (a tight shot)

Hi there, were you able to figure out what your issue was? I know that our policy on the forums is a little frustrating about posting photos, so I wonder if Kirk C's advice ended up helping you. How are you doing?

This same thing started happening to me as a younger teen as I was developing and it freaked me out too. it didn’t cause me any pain, I just wasn’t able to glide my foreskin over the knob anymore. I’d always had kind of a short foreskin anyway and my doctor basically just confirmed that I have a pretty large penis head relative to the shaft. Anatomical variation is common, turns out it runs in the family and I could’ve avoided the freak out if I’d just talked to my brother or Dad. (Though I still ended up getting the obligatory awful Dad joke “I guess we can’t avoid being big dickheads!” SMH.) by the time I was done with puberty I guess my penis had completely outgrown my foreskin bc it was permanently behind the mushroom head all the time and people have just assumed I’m circumcised ever since.
As long as there’s no pain or problems, the physician claims it’s fine. BUT apparently If the foreskin gets too tight while pulled back that it *constricts* and cuts off blood flow, then you’ve got a problem called paraphimosis that can actually be dangerous. If that’s the case, definitely get it checked out ASAP!
