Totally same thing. Except I switched to a generic and im actually experiencing PVCs which is super freaky. I get dizzy a lot. Also suffer from anxiety. The chest pain seems to be left side, behind my breast, it isn't a sharp pain. More a dull ache accompanied with nausea. I was thinking of seeing a cardiologist...

I just experienced this too after being OFF of the pill for over a year. I recently had two incidents of chest pain. The last one was so bad I thought I was having a heart attack so I took an aspirin and that made the pain go away. The doc gave me an EKG and I was fine. It HAS TO BE the birth control pills! I was eating healthy and exercising regularly the year before I got back on and never had any issues with chest pain. Prior to that year I was on the pill on and off for 10 years. This prescription is new and I will kindly be asking the doc to put me BACK on what I was on before!

I was on combined pill for more than 5 years then switched to mini pill (micronor) due to high blood pressure and headaches. First few months on mini pill were ok, but past few months I have had severe crushing chest pains in same area as my heart. It controlled me every day. I couldn't stop thinking about it which made it worse. I finally decided I couldn't take it no more. I have been off the mini pill for 2 days now and already feeling better. My doctor will probably make me feel guilty for stopping at my next appointment, but I don't care. I'm done! Do not take this pill!!!

The only thing you can really do is to get OFF the pill. I'm 23 and I've been taking pills since I was 15. At first I was put on because I bleed too much and it helped to regulate. About a year ago I started getting stabbing pains on the left side of my chest. I had many hospital visits and every time they said that nothing was wrong with me. I didn't know what it was coming from so I tried change my diet, I worked out, I kept positive, but it always came back every day. I do have anxiety and thought it was that. It's all from the pill. Just get off. Once I stopped the chest pains stopped mostly. I get little pressure pain moments once every month maybe but it sure beats the pain I had before that occurred multiple times every day.

I started on the pill because my flow is abnormal and i have heavy flow when it does come and half way through the wheel i also started feeling chest pain. I stopped taking the pill and it hasnt gone away totally but hasnt happened as much or as painful. It was on my left side as well. I havent seen a doctor. But hooe to have answers soon.

Im on my sixth week of birth controls (taking a low dose) because my pms flow is extremely heavy. I have not gained weight, but i do have severe chest pain on the upper left side of my chest. It hurts when I move, and even if i lay down, pay still persists. its been going on for a couple of weeks and i figured it was due to something else. Also, I am having issues with my sleep patterns. I used to get 6.5 to 7 hours of sleep at night and now i am down to 4-5 hours a night. Not sure what is going on, but I am not going to continue with these pills. I'd rather have the 7 days of heavy period then to experience headaches and chest pain.

Hello everyone! Today I went to see my doctor for a follow up with my pills and I told her about this rare symptom (chest pain ) I told her I was worry about it and she started to ask me sooooo many questions. She even did a test for my heart and she said it was normal. But she made me stop the pills and recommended to use something else and use protection . For those of you who have the chest pain, GOOOOO! Gooo to see your doctor! Don't hesitate Goooo! Remmeber that is your health and you should take care of it. If you have chest pain go!
