Hi, I stopped taking birth control pills a year ago, I am married and my husband and I use condoms as our only mode of birth control. When I was younger (22), I was diagnosed with mild dysplasia (stage 1?) and ovarian cysts...and at the time I had not had my mentrual cycle for 9 months straight...solution by my gynecologist was to put me on the pill. This cleared up all the cysts, dysplasia symptoms and regulated my period. I stayed on my bcpills for 10 years until my DR. said that I had an increased chance of a blod clot...thus bringing me to todays problem. I have had my period pretty regularly since last July, until August of this year. Since August, I have not yet had my period; however, I have been having for three days now a black (dry) discharge (no odour). I have taken two pregnancy tests, both have come back negative (one in September and one last week). Can anyone point me in the right direction to learn more about this problem? Many thanks!
I'm aware that when a discharge arrives it's never pleasant, when i was 19 i had an abnormal papsmear and i was diagnoise as having endometriosis overian cysts and cin2 caused by Human Pamaloma Virus causing my period cycle to turn i would not bleed for 7 days then every other day i would bleed red blood then brown discharge then uncomfortale black dry patches bits on my knickers. it was my gynocoligists disicion for me to take the pill and so i did my cycle only worked whilst i was on the pill and when i'd stop taking the pill my problem happened all over again.
my first move was I had to change my nylon underwear to cotton.
my second i spoke to a chinesse doctor and had celery herbal suppliment added to my diet in the form of tablet it seemed to make me go to the toilet more regulary which made me use pelvic floor movements more regularly, I found out that the blood changes color from red to black when the blood cell come in to contact with the air maybe just maybe some pelvic floor exercises can help as it did for me. i am now 28years with 2 kids
