I've masturbated a few times recently and the first time I was really into it, and I thought that I was really wet. But then when I turned on the light it was blood that I saw, and not just a little bit of blood. I was really freaked out, and didn't know what to think. I also am not using anything too rough or damaging to my vagina, and I still bleed. Is this a serious problem?
Hi Hon: Your hymen is just a thin piece of skin at the base of your vagina, so that probably broke - in the heat of the moment. Another thing that happens is this, your vagina is basically a tunnel of muscles, it can take a heck of a lot before it tears. That doesn't mean it doesn't get irritated from time to time. With the amount of blood you are describing, I would suspect it is caused by your ovaries being stimulated - so to speak. When you are about to climax, orgasm or about to cum! Your entire sex system is vibrating, the entire area, so if you think about it this way - if you are close to your period and all of this "Excitement" is going on, it can cause just a bit of blood to expell itself! Then the next day you have nothing! This happens to a lot of women! So depending on when you are expecting your period etc. I would definitely say it is that. NOW if you are sexually active and use no protection, that could be another thing. It could be an STD. So if this is not an option, don't worry. If it COULD be the reason, you need to go get checked out ASAP. Also if it happens again, perhaps just go get a checkup, just to make sure there's nothin goin on. But pretty sure it's the 1st thing I mentioned. ISn't bein a woman great?!!!! 8-| ;-) 8-| XD Good luck hun, hope I helped you.
